Heather Hunter
Heather has been a part of the Smiths Station softball family for the past 14+ years. She has worn many hats during that time. From coaching to being a team mom, to a board member with experience in many aspects, from uniform coordinator, fundraising coordinator, secretary, vice president, as well her current position as President of the board.
When she is not working as a paralegal in the area, as she has for 21+ years, she is traveling to softball tournaments while watching her daughter, as well as traveling to football games to watch her son. She is a devoted wife to Darrell and mother to 2 daughters 20 and 11, and a son 18. When she's not at the fields, she and Darrell love to vacation at the beach or the mountains, and spend time with their pups, Simon and Buddy.

DJ Sims
DJ brings a passion for youth to the board that is second to none. He wants to give back to the community as it once gave to him. DJ believes it is imperative to mold and enrich lives through sport. Not only shaping competitive spirit but teaching teamwork and values that will guide them in life.
DJ is married to his wife Jessica, they have 2 daughters 8 and 7, with 2 dogs Winston a Lab-mix and Smitty a Beagle. DJ is a senior at the University of Alabama online, where he is studying Advertising and Sales Promotion. In his spare time, when he is not coaching softball, he loves spending time with his family, watching sports of any kind, or lifting in the gym.

TREASURER
Jessica Sims
Jessica is a devoted wife, mom, and aunt. She is not only her daughters’ team and dugout mom, but steps in as 1st and 3rd base coach when needed. When Jessica is not with her family, she is working hard in her career.
She has worked in the accounting industry for more than 15 years. She is currently an Accounting Integrations Manager. With a passion for the youth, she has joined the board to help bring rec softball back to prominence.

DIRECTOR OF UMPIRES
Randy Taylor
Randy has been a part of the Smith Station Youth Softball family for the last 10+ years. He has spent time coaching and umpiring while also sitting on the board as director of umpires, and field maintenance.
Randy is retired from the US Army and we thank him for his service! He and his wife Cori have 2 daughters, 21 and 12.

HEAD OF FIELD MAINTENANCE
Austin Guldin
Austin brings enthusiasm and drive to the board and is willing to do whatever it takes to keep the park in its best playing condition. As well as being a positive role model, not only for his girls, but for every girl that touches the dirt on Drury Fields.
Austin brings a wealth of experience in sports and teamwork, having played baseball at the collegiate level. He coached softball in Smiths Station last Spring and Fall seasons. Austin is a devoted husband and father. Married to Rachel and they have 2 girls, 12 and 5.

UNIFORM COOORDINATOR
Rachel Guldin
Rachel comes to the board ready and willing to serve the community and our youth by coordinating uniforms and any other task that may come her way. She is detail oriented and organized. Bringing an energized spirit and a desire to make a difference in the community.
A loving wife to Austin and mother to 2 daughters 12 and 5, she also helps Austin coach their 12U team and coordinates with the parents.
